Head:
Head and body
are worked in a continuous spiral. So
you should mark first stitch of each round.
Round 1 :
with tan (brown) colour, make a ring of
6 chs and close it. (6)
Round 2 : 2
sc in each stitch around. (12)
Round 3 :
inc. 6 sc evenly spaced around: (1sc in next st, 2sc in next st) - 6 times (18)
Embroider
the eyes with blue (brown/ black) colour. I put them in round 8 and 3 sts apart
.
Round 9:
dec 3 sc evenly spaced around (15)
Round 10:
dec 3 sc evenly spaced around (12)
Round 12:
dec 6 sc evenly spaced around : 1 s in each sc tog. (6)
Now stuff
the head with polyester fiberfill.
Hat:
Start to
crochet a round of sc around the head.
You shoud
have a round of 21 sc.
Round 2 -10: sc in each stitch around
Make 1 sc
in each slst (21)
weave in the yarn tail on
the inside of the hat
Cont. hat
Round 11:
dec 4 sc: make 1 sc in next 6 sts, (make 1sc in 2 st. tog.) 4times , make 1 sc
in next 7 sts. ( 17)
Round 12: sc
in each stitch around (17)
Round 13:
dec 3 sc: make 1 sc in next 5 sts, (make 1sc in 2 st. tog.) 3 times , make 1 sc
in next 6 sts. ( 14)
Round
14/15: sc in each stitch around (14)
Round 16:
dec 4 sc: make 1 sc in next 3 sts, (make 1sc in 2 st. tog.) 4 times , make 1 sc
in next 3 sts. ( 10)
Round 17/18:
sc in each stitch around (10)
Round 19:
dec 5 sc: (make 1sc in 2 st. tog.) 5 times

Round 20: sc

For the
pompom add thread of silver metallic
yarn to the wight thread and go on this
way:
Round 21: sc
in each stitch around (5)
Round 22 :
2 sc in each stitch around. (10)
Round 23 :
inc. 5 sc evenly spaced around: (1sc in next st, 2sc in next st) - 5 times (14)
Round 24 :
2 sc in each stitch around. (15)
Close the
pompom:
Put the
yarn tail through the needle´s eye and insert the needle through the front loop
of each of the 15 stitches around the pompom opening.Pull the tail tight to close shoe opening and weave in the yarn tail.
Cont. body:
Body
Remember
that the fairy´s head and body are worked in a continuous spiral.
So cont.
right from last round of head (6sts in tan colour).
With white
colour make an uncounted rnd of slsts.

Round 1: sc
in each st around

Round 2 : inc. 2 sc evenly spaced around (8)
Round 3 : inc. 2 sc evenly spaced around (10)
Round 4-8:
sc in each st around (10)
Stuff the
body with polyester fiberfill.
To form the
legs find the center of the body and devide the body into a left and a right
half. Each half is formed by 5 sts.
Round
1: sc in each st to the body
center, skip next 5sts (putting them aside for the right leg), sc in each st to
the end of the round (5)
Round 2:
inc . 1 sc (6)
Round 3-8
: sc in each st around (6)
Foot
Round 9: inc. 6 sc evenly spaced around: (1sc in next
st, 2sc in next st) - 6 times (12)
Round 10/11 :
sc in each st around
Stuff foot with
fiberfill.
Close the
foot just like the pompom above:
Put the
yarn tail through the needle´s eye and insert the needle through the front loop
of each of the 12stitches around the foot opening
Than pull
the tail tight to close shoe opening and weave in the yarn tail.
Work the
right leg and foot in the same way.
Hand and
Arm (make 2)
Work hand
with tan (brown) colour.
Round 1:
make a ring of 5 chs and close it. (5)
Round 2:
inc. 5 sc evenly spaced around: 2sc in
each ch. (10)
Round 3 :
inc. 5 sc evenly spaced around: (1sc in next st tog ) 5 times ( 5 )
Round 4-8
: sc in each st around (5)
close the arm
like the pompom and the foot above.
Work right
arm and hand in the same way.
Then sew
the arms to the fairy´s body.
Finally
rouge the fairy´s cheeks with some blush. To fix the blush I usually spray some
hair spray on it.
